Western Regionals 2022 has been run and won with 130 people playing across 8 teams!
After a third year of COVID hiccups, Western Regionals is back to its usual smooth-sailing self. With all the usual suspects in attendance (Bullseye, Kaos, and Sublime), along with the new kid on the block (Marlow St), it was a day of fun in the sun, and even an upset or two!
In the men’s division, Sublime 1 rolled through without much resistance (barring a shaky few points against Bullseye). Sublime 2 had a bit more trouble, finishing bottom of the pool at the end of day, thanks to the Marlow St boys playing an absolute ripper of a game. Marlow brought it to Bullseye in their match as well, but were staved off in the end for a Bullseye win, leaving the final standings at Sublime 1, Bullseye, Marlow, then Sublime 2. Subbers 2 took home spirit, and Marlow’s Alistair Jardine and Sublime’s Ryan Schmidt topped the MVP rankings.
On the women’s side, Kaos once again showed up to play. Bringing their main girls, along with a stacked SOAK team, both teams had a blinder of a day, finishing first and second overall. The Bullseye girls played terrifically with their low numbers, bringing home the bronze, and the Marlow/Sublime team were all smiles all day, no matter the score. Manon Gebauer took the top spot for MVP votes, so a huge congrats to her.

Thank you Bronze Bullseye for hosting an incredible event and a special thanks to the Tournament Director Jack Morris. A huge thank you to all the Bullseye volunteers who helped run a silky-smooth day, and we can’t wait for the next big thing!
