Tournaments

The WA Flying Disc Association (WAFDA) has several sanctioned tournaments conducted each year.

Interested parties are eligible to bid for hosting rights for these events and are subject to minimum tournament standards as outline by WAFDA.

Please visit the Hosting page for areas of consideration when planning your tournament. This section also includes the bidding process. Successful applicants will be subject to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlining both WAFDA and host obligations.

WAFDA sanctioned events include:

• Western Regionals (Qualifying event for Australian Ultimate Championships)
• Phoenix Has Risen (Qualifying tournament for Australian Mixed Ultimate Championships)
• Witch's Hat (WAFDA's annual Hat tournament)
• Indoor Championships (WA State Indoor Ultimate Championships)
• WA Beach Ultimate Championships
