2013 Female Rookie of the Year
2013 Female Rookie of the Year is Maxin Qua.
Maxin started playing in 2013 and was selected in the UWA B team and travelled to Singapore to compete at Singapore Mixed Nationals and train with
Singapore Management University and Shiok.
In early October she competed at the Australian Youth Ultimate Championships in Melbourne and was named in the “All-Star” Australian squad.
Locally she has competed in Perth Ultimate Leagues 46, 47 and 48, Phoenix Has Risen, the State Indoor hampionships and is now playing in the Kaos Ultimate Mini League in preparation for the U19 Australian team selection camp.
She has very quickly improved all of her skills in ultimate over the past year by participating and always demonstrates an enthusiastic and positive attitude at training and is always looking to
improve all aspects of her game.On the field Maxin is demonstrates good ‘Spirit of the Game’, has a good knowledge of the rules and s a good communicator.
