WAFDA Seeks Development Officer

WA Ultimate are pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the role of Development Officer.

This role is an amazing opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to engage with delivering Ultimate in schools.

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Sporting Schools “Ulti-Mates” Program, the delivery of school-based events such as Primary and High School Championships and interschool carnivals.

The Development Officer will oversee community coach training and be crucial to maintaining relationships with affiliated clubs, schools and key stakeholders.

Key duties include

  1. Manage School-based programs and resources.
  2. Undertake day to day administrative tasks to deliver WA Ultimate’s core business.
  3. Provide support and development to affiliated clubs.
  4. Deliver Primary and High School Ultimate Championships

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and will be paid under the Sporting Organisations Award (Coach Grade 2). Further information and the position description can be found here.
